WALX Coast and Country run a full and varied programme of walks and other outdoor activities in the South East, suitable for all ages and ability levels. We enjoy the South Downs as well as picturesque locations along the coast from Emsworth to Goring-on-Sea. We enjoy a big programme around Chichester, Littlehampton, and Arundel. As well as taking in the enchanting countryside surrounding the East Grinsted area. Whether you enjoy outdoor activities on the beach or in the wonderful Sussex countryside, we have something for you. We are confident we can cater to your health, social and fitness wants and needs. The activities are varied and fun; we welcome everyone. Some of our members enjoy gentle exercise, some are managing health complications, whilst others are walking marathons. With WALX Coast and Country you can learn how to walk with Nordic Walking Poles, but we also offer non-pole walking and outdoor fitness classes. These include exercises that improve balance, coordination, cardiovascular fitness, and strength. You get all the benefits of a gym workout but can do it enjoying the great outdoors. GETTING THE BEST VALUE You can do an unlimited number of walks and exercise sessions, including virtual classes for as little as £25 per month. This works out at £3.12 per session if you average attending twice a week. Health Walks Special Package We offer Health Walks in Chichester and Goring with a package of £12 per month. WALX 6-WEEK PROGRAMME If you would like to take advantage of the full membership package without the commitment of a direct debit, you can sign up for the 6-week programme. You will get a 1-2-1 consultation, unlimited sessions (outdoor workouts and virtual), free online wellbeing course, retail discounts and a free walk with all listed WALX clubs in the country once a month. All for £29.00.
GROUP WALKS & SOCIAL EVENTS Many of our activities and walks will finish with a social visit to a cafe for a drink and a chat. In the summer months we have pub walks, picnic walks, BBQs and more. We pride ourselves on the inclusivity of our club. VIRTUAL CLASSES You access to over 2000 online exercises sessions per week, taught by our expert team. Sessions include total body workouts, Pilates, Yoga, HIIT and aerobics. We have everything from Explorer WALX, Wellness WALX, TBW (Total Body Walks), YOGA WALX and more. It is so important to look after you, your health and mental wellbeing; let us support you!
