During the Autumn of 2019 some of our most experienced NWUK groups began the transition to the WALX brand so they could encourage more people to come along and join them. Sam Armstrong, pictured has been with NWUK for over 10 years and in that time has built up a loyal group of regular participants who walk with her and her team in all weathers. Although for years they fully embraced the purple branding of NWUK, they all took to the new look and helped Sam to organise a Discovery Day which attracted 75 people to WALX taster sessions.
Other groups sprung up in Preston, Reading and on the Kent coast
